Ward Rules
Ward Facilities and Use Instructions
- Closet, bathroom, bedside lamp, intercom, and other facilities.
- Water dispenser (RO dispensers are available at all nursing stations), dryer, spin dryer, laundry basket, telephone, nursing station, ice maker, lounge, and instructions for ward locations.
- Please contact the nursing station for wheelchairs (patients to be delivered for examination should have priority over others).
- Please prepare personal toiletries. For other necessities, you may make a purchase at the 1F convenience store in the Hospital’s Lifu Medical Building. Please bring your clothes for hospitalization, mainly the light ones.
Ward Meals
- Patients may prepare their own food; or for the Hospital to supply the meals (self-paid), please contact the nursing station.
- Ward meal hours: Breakfast: 7:00am-8:00am; lunch: 11:30am-12:30pm; dinner: 5:00pm-6:00pm
- The Hospital offers therapeutic meals for patients. The attending physician and nutritionist will make adjustments deemed necessary according to the patient’s condition after being admitted to the hospital.
Visitors, Company and Routines
- Visitor bed usage time: 12:00pm-2:00pm and 9:00pm-7:00am. The device is not allowed to be used except these periods. Please fold it properly and put it away for the convenience of medical staff.
- Please keep quiet and not make any noise. Visitors should leave the hospital before 10 PM. Please also keep your TV and radio down.
- If special nurses (nursing assistants) are needed to take care of patients, they can be arranged through application at the nursing station to ensure the quality of care.
Leave
In case of an accident, please inform the nurse and ask for leave. According to the regulations of the Bureau of National Health Insurance, no more than four hours a day is allowed.
Safety
- Please give your valuables to your family and take them back. If you find unknown strangers entering or leaving the ward, please inform the nursing station to deal with them.
- Use of electric appliances such as electric cookers, electric stoves, and thermal insulated pots without permission is prohibited.
- In order to protect patients' safety, the use of mobile phones is prohibited on the premises because the frequency of mobile phones can interfere with the running of instruments.
Hygiene
- Betel nut chewing is prohibited in the Hospital and smoking is forbidden as well as per the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act. Patients and their families are requested to cooperate to keep a clean and healthy environment.
- To maintain cleanliness and air quality, do not place objects on air-conditioning vents and windowsills.
- Do not bring pets into the hospital and please jointly maintain cleanliness inside and outside the wards.
