On February 15, 2011, the Hospital’s hemophilia treatment and education training center was officially opened. The integrated medical team, composed of hematology and oncology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, dentistry, psychiatry, social workers, and nurses, integrates as appropriate interdisciplinary medical needs and creates customized medical services. In addition, we provide a convenient, spacious, and cozy waiting place for patients with hemophilia, and a convenient way to register and get medicine. Dedicated to self-prevention and control of hemophilia, it promotes the correct medical and care concepts to patients and their families through case management and training activities such as genetic counseling, preventive health care, disease counseling, medical lectures, and elf-injection training, which are well received by patients. The purpose of the establishment is to promote the concept of the holistic medical treatment of hemophiles, as well as domestic and foreign experience in the treatment of hemophilia and exchanges. Overall medical services are personalized to improve patients' quality of life and avoid complications. The center provides family health genetic counseling services, personalized holistic care, 24 hours of continuous care, in-home injection education, and coagulation factor knowledge education. The whole medical treatment is centered on patients by integrating divisions of hematology, rehabilitation, orthopedics, and dentistry, and incorporating other divisions according to individual medical needs to maintain the physical and mental health of patients. Patients from the age of two are recommended to receive once a year the holistic medical service, which is available by appointment over the telephone or at the clinic during the service hours of the center. With the mission of becoming the best hemophilia care center in the central region, we hope to expand our international vision and become an international hemophilia education center to achieve international medical level and provide more services and assistance to patients.
