Renal Disease Control Center
Acute pulmonary edema in children is caused by renal failure, and its resulting problems include pleural effusion, acidosis, electrolyte imbalance, cramps, and coma, all of which can lead to death in the blink of an eye. In order to rescue children with pulmonary edema and renal failure, renal replacement therapy is often required. The center has acquired the new treatment technology of sustained low-efficiency daily dia-filtration (SLEDD-f). The ability to carry out this new treatment technology in children and successful clinical experience can truly treat children with acute pulmonary edema and renal failure. With the initiation of the early CKD scheme by the Health Insurance Bureau in 2013, the Hospital is scheduled in 2014 to actively include the early CKD payment program for children under 18 years of age and devote all efforts to the prevention and care of kidney diseases in order to serve more children with nephropathy. The center will provide chronic kidney diseases prevention, early diagnosis, treatment of acute and chronic renal disease in children and adolescents, urological ultrasound screening for newborns, follow-up treatment for newborns with prenatal urinary tract dysplasia, treatment of children with positive urine screening results, nephrotic syndrome, various nephritis and renal tubular disorders, as well as dialysis treatment of acute and chronic renal failure, and long-term care before and after kidney transplantation in children.
