Where the child has a fever and is crying in the small hours, and the clinic is closed, a parent's first thought is to take them to the emergency room. To the emergency room? Which emergency room? Is there a pediatrician in the emergency room? Do emergency physicians see children? Which is better to go to? Whom to call? Every parent’s mind is filled with questions. Many parents in downtown Taichung do not know that China Medical University Children's Hospital has pediatricians and subspecialists offering child emergency services, including pediatric critical care; neonatology; pediatric cardiology; pediatric infection; pediatric hematology and oncology; pediatric allergy, immunology, and rheumatology; and pediatric nephrology. The emergency services run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by our attending physicians on the front line for your child's diagnosis and treatment. These services are not available downtown and in other adjacent areas, or even in the Greater Taichung area, other than in our Children's Hospital, which has been guarding the health of children under the age of 18. No matter day or night, sunny or typhoon day, we always provide services here.
