Doctor Chen is qualified as a specialist in both surgery and urology in Taiwan. He specializes in pediatric urology, and is familiar with pediatric urological surgery, for examples, correction of congenital urinary tract malformations and pediatric genital surgery. He is also good at the treatment of nocturnal enuresis in children. He once went to Tissue Engineering and Cell Therapy Laboratory of Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and was trained in the Regenerative Medicine Department of Wake Forest University and Medical Center in North Carolina, USA. He is one of the experts in the fields of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine in Taiwan. He is currently a committeeman of the Pediatric Urology Committee and the Hospital Evaluation Committee of the Taiwan Urology Association.
