The Department of Pediatric Neurology specializes in diagnosing and treating common childhood neurological conditions, such as headaches, syncope, peripheral nerve palsy, stroke, and epilepsy. Through an interdisciplinary care model, we collaborate closely with TCM pediatrics, neurosurgery, sleep medicine, rehabilitation, child psychiatry, and genetics to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Our department features advanced diagnostic facilities, including dedicated pediatric EEG rooms, an electrophysiology lab, cranial ultrasound, and a long-term EEG monitoring ward. For complex cases like encephalitis and traumatic brain injury, we employ an ICU joint-care model combining neuro-intensivists and pediatric neurosurgeons.

Driven by clinical research, we partner with the Department of Medical Genetics to advance the diagnosis of neurometabolic and hereditary disorders, Tourette syndrome, and epilepsy. Our internationally published research is directly translated into clinical practice, dedicated to improving the quality of life for every child.
